Listen Instagram, and truthfully all social media platforms, are ever-changing all of these tech companies are always looking for ways to grow expand and improve their platforms. Just look at all the new features that Instagram has dropped over the past year or so like they have been added but there are two really important things that you have to remember when it comes to adapting to a changing Platform no matter what changes may come in the future. You're always gonna want to come back to the principle of creating good content. It really doesn't matter what the algorithm change or new feature happens to be this principle should come first if your main focus never stops being creating good content, then it doesn't matter what the format is whether it's feed content or stories or reals or whatever else Instagram might invent next you're always going to be able to reach your audience when a new feature like Instagram reels for example is introduced rather. Other than freaking out and dropping everything and totally changing paths instead ask yourself. How can I use this new format to create high quality content and share a message with my audience? The purpose and the mission behind what you're doing is never going to change you just might find yourself doing it in slightly different ways.
The second thing that you need to remember is to not be afraid of new things. I get it changes can be overwhelming and scary but it doesn't have to be now. I don't personally hop on every single new feature that Instagram launches because they don't always necessarily align with me and my brand and my values for example, I've made it very clear my feelings about Instagram's nft Marketplace thing, but I always do my best to learn about the new features and how I can potentially leverage these to provide value to and connect with my audience. So make sure that you are keeping up a little bit with the new changes that Coming to Instagram and the new features and I want to encourage you to at least try and experiment with them when they are available because I know a lot of us probably feel like I wish I would have started with reels earlier because in general when new features like this come in early adopters are really rewarded because they're just less content in the space.
So the content that exists is being shown to more people and you never know you might really really enjoy creating for whatever new format or feature might come to the platform next the biggest takeaway here when it comes to an ever-changing and always adapting platform is to stay open to try new things. Don't be afraid of the changes and always remember to return to the principle of just creating good content that you know is going to connect with your audience. All right. Now that I've shared with you my approach to growth how to adapt to a changing platform buckle your seatbelt and get ready because in the next lesson of this module We are going to dive in to what the top performing content on Instagram looks like right now including how to create this content.
