Tweet Graphics are a highly shareable form of content on Instagram that allow you to show your kind of more witty humorous side and maybe even for you to share a hot take on something going on in your Niche or industry. It's almost frustrating how well this kind of content performs considering how truly low effort. It is compared to say creating an entire real or graphic carousel now as easy as it is to put together, I will say I feel like successful tweet Graphics are a bit of an art and a science it's understanding the format and what's gonna click with people but also being able to come up with something truly witty and unique because the Tweet graphic format only works. If the text of the Tweet really does grab the attention of your viewers and entertain them in some way if you're just sharing cliches or platitudes. It's really not going to be that effective. So what are these work?

Well my theory on why tweet Graphics are such Effective content format is because they are short and sweet and snappy really quick to digest and it's also the exact kind of thing that people love to share to their story because a lot of times people themselves don't feel bold enough to just type out their hot take or unpopular opinion and post it on their Instagram story. But if they feel solidarity in the fact that you said it first then they're more likely to share it with their audience because they have that kind of inherent backup of like, oh well, she said it before me so I'm like just agreeing with her but like here's what I think it's also the kind of thing that if it's really funny or relatable people might share via direct message to a friend or even tag their friend in the comments so that they'll come and look at it basically depending on like the tone or the purpose of the Tweet.

There's different ways that people might go about sharing this with other people, but at its core it's a very shareable type of content. So let me show you an example. Back to canva again for creating our tweet graphic. This is super straightforward. You can kind of get creative with it and do whatever branding you like but the base of it super easy to do. So, we're gonna go ahead and create another design and we're gonna make this one the Instagram story post Dimension. So 1080 by 1080 and pretty much my strategy with this is just to make the background a solid color like one of your brand colors, but there's lots of different options like you can shake it up if you want for one thing before we even get started like going to templates if you just search tweet, you'll see there are truly countless different tweet formats that you can use that designers have created. So that's a super easy starting point. Normally, I would suggest just like picking one that looks the most sort of like plain and minimal. I think sometimes if there's like too much stuff added to it. It's Distracting but you can always grab one of these like this for instance and then just delete the gradient background and then we can select the background and add you know, whatever color we want for our solid color background. I think I'm gonna go with my sort of off-white color here. Of course, the next step is gonna be pulling in a profile picture. So if this is my profile picture for the Katie and Dan in a Van account, I'm gonna put that there and then of course change up the name, so it's correct and then obviously the hardest part when it comes to creating a tweet graphic is writing the Tweet itself like you want to make sure you have something clever and Woody, so I was thinking about it before and wrote this tweet. It's kind of long. So I'm just gonna expand this and then select everything and Center it and then I'm just gonna add some line break. So it's a little bit easier to read. And there you have it like so straightforward. It literally couldn't be easier.

If you don't want to use a template for whatever reason it's still super easy. You can quickly build something like this with the different free elements inside canvas. So for example, you could just pick a rounded rectangle shape. Make it whatever size you want change it to White and then Center on your page or whatever. And then if you search frame this will give you different frame shapes so that you can add in a picture so you can just select the circle one make it the size that you want your profile picture to be and then you can just tap t to open a text box and then start, you know adding your username and your name title. And of course your Tweet so Super easy just change up the formatting. Change this to be a slightly lighter font. and then this would also be we'll make that bigger and then you could add your Tweet like that and then we're just going to write justify it. And here you can see how in literally under a minute. I constructed the canva template for a tweet just using very basic shapes and elements. So so easy to do you're gonna spend most of your time trying to think up what the Tweet should be.
