Once you have everything planned out in your content calendar, it is finally time to create back in module 2 lesson 2 we talked about developing your content creation system and in your workbook, you should have developed a Content creation system and routine that works for you and your lifestyle. So now is the time to reference that with all that in mind. I want to dig a little bit deeper into strategies for Content batching so you can determine if batching is the right pathway for you and how much content you maybe would want to batch at a time the advantages of batching your content ahead of time include being more organized having the ability to plan ahead having less stress in the moment and being more likely to stay consistent and in my experience spending less time on content creation than if you weren't batching because in general batching your content tends to be more efficient, but as with anything, there are not just advantages. They're also some disadvantages to batching.

So let's talk about those some disadvantages of batching all Of your content include your content not being as timely as on top of the latest trends it's not as enjoyable to some people some people like that daily check-in where they make their content each day. And finally, it is a lot of work all at once even though in total. I believe you'll spend less hours on your content in a given month. For example, if you batch it all at once those hours will have to be spent all at once whereas of course if you're making content as you go it's just a little bit each day. So it is a big time investment up front. So with that in mind and of course with your own schedule Lifestyle the types of content that you want to make in mind you can decide if batching your content is right for you. And of course batching doesn't have to always look the same you can batch an entire month of content at once you could just batch a week at a time. So in any given week you could be working on Instagram content for the following week. These are both It options it just depends on your own circumstances.

Okay, so if you have decided that batching your content to any extent in advance is for you that I have a few tips that I want to share with you about how to do it in the best way possible. So, let's say you're batching a month of content in advance. The first decision you can make is if you want to do one really big batching day, or if you would prefer to do a more chill and spread out batching week. I've done it both ways. And again, there's pros and cons to each but in general I find that badging your content across the course of a week is a little bit less intimidating and just a little bit easier for the average person to take on rather than spending like a 10 hour day matching content like that's a lot. If you are gonna do just a mega content batching day, then just remember that you might want to switch up your outfits, which if your hairstyle so that it doesn't appear like you just created all your content in one day. It'll also make your grid look a little bit more varied. I also find it helpful if you Are going to do a mega batching day. I would recommend doing all the same kind of format at once. So maybe you start out and film all of your reels and then you design all of your graphics and then you shoot all of your photos like do it in chunks because once you're in the mode for creating reels it's easier to stay in that mode rather than switching continuously between these different types of formats. And of course, they also require different tools.

So it's much easier to just do each format all at once. Now if you are gonna go the other route and do a batching week, then you might consider using a structure like I have done in the past to split up your content throughout the days of the week a method that I have found to be effective is actually batching your content by day of the week. So for example, if it's Monday of my batching week, I am going to make sure that I spend you know, like an hour two hours. However long on Monday creating the content for all of the Mondays in the upcoming month and then on Tuesday, I'll create all of my Tuesday content. For the coming month and also just the way that I tend to schedule my own content. I will have like reals will always be on Monday. Graphics will always be on Tuesday Etc. So then that kind of plays into the batching the same kind of format at once and it'll be more efficient. Of course as I discussed in the previous video and as I'll talk about more when we get into scheduling just because you plan your content like all Mondays are reals all Tuesdays are Graphics doesn't mean that it actually has to be published that way when it comes to actually getting everything scheduled. I'll usually click and drag things around to rearrange my grid to make it look good. But I find for the purposes of batching. It's helpful to do all of one kind of content at once and scheduling them all for the same day is one way to do that. The other benefit of doing a batching week is that you'll naturally have that Variety in how you look like if of course if you're appearing in the content that you're making if you change outfit each day of the week, then you will look different in your different kinds of content. This can just naturally help with that variety. In the visuals without you having to artificially like change outfit in hairstyles during a batching session my next batching tip applies whether you want to do a mega-batching day or spread it out over the week and that is to keep all of your content organized.

I just went over how to schedule everything in notion and I love returning to my notion content calendar throughout the content creation process to save the various parts of a post all in one place. So as I create the video for the real I will save that video also create a Real cover for it upload the reals cover into notion also link to the video wherever I have it stored maybe it's in Google Drive or whatever your preference is and then I'll also go ahead and write the caption right inside that entry in notion. That way I can return to my notion content calendar and open up any of the posts that I have planned and inside that item in my notion calendar. I have the media that I need and the caption that I need. So it's all stored in one place. Especially if you are batching an entire month of content at once it's very easy to get disorganized misplace some of your media or forget which you know slide of Any Given graphic Carousel is meant to be in which like it can very quickly get disorganized if you're not intentional about it. So I really recommend using your notion content calendar as your go-to place where you're storing all of this media and text the other bonus of this is that you're essentially building yourself a database of your past post.

So as you continue to use this method going forward a few months down the line you can always return to your previous months and notion and take a look at what your past posts were and that gives you an opportunity to repurpose that or do a different spin on it. So maybe you made it into a real at one point but the same idea could be equally as good as a graphic Carousel. So then you know down the road you can always use that as inspiration for creating fresh content. And it's all stored in one place. My final content batching tip for you is to find a process that works for you. This will take experimentation. Your batching process might not look exactly the same as mine. This is something that I have been experimenting with and honing it on for years now so it can take time to really figure out what feels right and what's most fun and efficient for you.

When we peel back all the complex layers of the whole content batching process when it comes down to it. There are really four basic steps to creating any given piece of content. It's capturing the content so filming the real designing the graphic shooting the photo editing the content. So editing the real editing the photo proofreading your graphic Carousel writing the caption and then finally scheduling your content when you're batching you can do any of these steps in different combinations and orders depending on what feels best for you. So for example, you could go ahead And capture all of your content at once. This is what I tend to like to do. So go out film all the footage you need for your reels design all the graphics that you need shoot all the photos gather all of that media and then move on to the next step and edit everything and then once everything's edited move on to writing all of your captions at once and then finally scheduling everything but of course if that's overwhelming for you or it doesn't feel right or it's not as fun for you. You could do it in a different order so you could actually go post by post and go through those four steps. So capture the footage you need for your one real edit that one real write the caption for that one real and then schedule it and then move on to your next post or you could even do this in stages where you would go through all four steps for all of your reels and then all four steps for all of your photos really, it doesn't matter. What combination you do this in it's just about understanding what steps are involved. Maybe what you like to do the best what you find most energizing and then Moving around these puzzle pieces in a way that works the best for you all of these different approaches work and they can work equally. Well it all just depends on you which is why in this video. I wanted to share with you instead of like a really prescriptive step-by-step. Here's what you need to do to create your content. I wanted to share with you different ways that you can approach content creation so that you can find the best method for you and your lifestyle on the course page where you find this video.

I've also included a few sample workflows that you could copy and paste and follow depending on which one feels like it suits you the best. So using the content batching workflow that works best for you. And if you need referencing the tutorials that I shared back in module three, you'll be ready to go ahead and create all of your content. Okay. Now that I've asked all of my content we're gonna move on to the final lesson in this module and that Is showing you how to schedule everything. So meet me on over in the next video.
